Since our first event in 2009, Women's Rights Information Center's signature spring benefit "Women Celebrating Women" has raised critical funding for the EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN TO OVERCOME POVERTY AND HOMELESSNESS. 

At last year's event, you met Rachel, an unemployed single mom and domestic abuse survivor.  Today, Rachel has a full-time job that she loves, is living happily with her two young sons in safe and comfortable housing, and is free from dependence on government subsidies to feed and support her family.
