How To Be Your Own Chronic-Pain Hero
Tuesday  July 9, 10:00am -11:30am
Science has proven that people who are active in getting the help they need, who make positive adaptations to deal with their conditions, and who feel a sense of self-empowerment in their lives can feel less pain and more emotional strength than they ever dreamed of.  This workshop will share practical tips for how you can help yourself, how to get the doctors to take you more seriously, how to network with others, and how to re-frame your experience as a journey instead of a burden.  Presented by Alexandra Hanson-Harding, author of 20 books and chronic-pain researcher who has used her own experience, determination and imagination to dramatically lessen the impact of chronic pain in her life.
