Prior to coming to the Haas Sr. Fund, Pam served in local government for over 12 years, working for three mayoral administrations in the areas of community and economic development, federal policy, and welfare reform.  Pam's history also includes being an educator, community organizer, and activist on a range of civil rights and equity issues.

Pam has a B.A. from Pitzer College and an M.A. in Education from Stanford University.  She is a 1997 graduate of Leadership San Francisco, and has received numerous commendations for her work.  In addition to The Campaign for College Opportunity, Pam serves on the board of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and on the steering committee of Hope SF.
