Credit cards with the magnetic strip on the back are going away. The decades old technology is easily hacked by thieves. So they'll be replaced in the US with EMV chip cards, so called because a tiny chip is embedded in them. 80 other countries use a more secure digital chip. It's been widely reported these cards will dramatically cut back on fraud. But the Team 6 Investigators have learned one type of EMV card may not be so safe. It's the contactless cards. The ones you just wave over the pad to make a purchase . That card, Security expert Walt Augustinowicz argues, is at risk for fraud.
