Unacceptable
The Coalition is thrilled to announce the launch of our latest campaign: Unacceptable.
How did you sleep last night?
If you agree homelessness is unacceptable tweet #unacceptableyyj to @homeforhope and go to our Facebook page to spread the word and end homelessness in our community.
You will see the campaign on buses and bus shelters around Greater Victoria. We will also have a series of installations in high profile locations around the CRD in the coming weeks.
We strongly encourage you to share the campaign and tell your MLA candidates to put their support behind ending homelessness. Each time you include #unacceptableyyj in your tweet we will retweet it to a Victoria-area MLA candidate!
Stay tuned - we're releasing the next image in the series tomorrow!

Home for Hope Blog
Feb 7, 2013 - For most holidays around the Capital Region, many service provider's close up shop and employees take a little (much deserved) time for themselves. This can be a serious challenge for those experiencing homelessness who depend on those services. Where are they going to go for a meal, a shower, or just a warm dry place out of the elements.
In honour of the family they serve and BC's inaugural Family Day, Our Place is not only open today; they are holding a Family Day Celebration.

News in Inclusion
The Street Survival Guide has hit the shelves in agencies across Greater Victoria! There's been excellent response so far, with groups asking when they can get their hands on more copies. We've received requests for the guide from government services, service agencies and volunteer groups across the region. It's clear from the demand that we'll need a second printing.
We look forward to having a second edition out in April, making sure it stays accurate and up-to-date.
