Rehearing Requests Likely in Malpractice Ruling
Multiple parties, including the MMA, have elected to petition the Minnesota Supreme Court to rehear Dickhoff v. Green. The court's decision on the case recognized "loss of chance" as a cause of action in a medical malpractice case.

Documentary on Opioid and Heroin Abuse
Prescription opioid and heroin abuse is the subject of the three-part Twin Cities Public Television series and town hall meeting, "Heroin at Home," scheduled to air June 16 and 18, and throughout the month on TPT2. The series coincides with the MMA's efforts to find solutions to the problem of prescription opioid addiction, abuse and diversion in Minnesota. See program schedule.
