Using this ergonomics checklist is one way to identify, analyze and control Repetitive Motion Injury hazards in computer related tasks. This checklist does not require that employees assume specific working postures in order to comply. It provides suggested solutions to ergonomic problems at the computer workstation. An employee will be judged to be in compliance if they are provided with a computer workstation that is arranged or designed in a way that would pass this checklist.

The Amerians with Disabilities Act (ADA) Guide for Small Businesses presents an informal overview of some basic ADA requriemetns for small businesses that provide goods and services to the public. The Americans with Disabilities Act is a Federal civil rights law that prohibits the exclusion of people with disabilities from everyday activities, such as buying an item at the store, watching a movie in a theater, enjoying a meal at a local restaurant, exercising at the local health club or having the car serviced at a local garage.
