MASK Unity Community is hosting its quarterly lunch at Carrabba's Italian Grill - Scottsdale on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and we invite you to join us for delicious food and great conversation. Be inspired by our featured speaker and sponsor, Dr. Missy Gryder. Dr. Gryder joins MASK as the Program Development and Training Manager. Dr. Gryder brings extensive experience at both the elementary school and university levels to her new role. Most recently, Dr. Gryder has focused her professional energies on preventing child abuse as the developer of The Body Safety Box, a research-based educational kit offering children along with their parents, schools, and community groups a series of active, engaging and age-appropriate learning opportunities to help prevent childhood physical and sexual abuse.

MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization created in 2007 by a group of dedicated mothers who recognized the need to consistently educate parents and children on rapidly changing issues. MASK's mission is to educate parents and children about the issues facing our youth, and to empower children to make safe, healthy choices.
ABOUT MASK E3 PROGRAMS
MASK's E3 Youth and Parent Programs aim to engage, educate and empower audiences with knowledge, resources and tools to make safe, healthy choices.The E3 Program brings a comprehensive approach to educating parents and students from kindergarten through college and is designed to present the latest trends and information at an age-appropriate level. Through MASK's E3 programming, parents and students will be "in the know" on the latest issues and trends and, most importantly, students will learn tactics and strategies to deal with issues and peer pressure first hand. MASK The Magazine provides parenting solutions for today's families.
