Balance. Whether you're a mom who works at or away from home, I'm sure you've felt the pervasive, internal tug of war between the time you spend at work and the time you spend with family.
After years of trying to achieve that elusive balance of both I can finally admit it's simply not possible. In my 25 years as a career woman, I can honestly say the scales have never been even when it comes to work and family.

The Time is Now.
When it comes to my suburban family of six, I believe we are similar to many families these days. Our family time consists of dropping off (and picking up) our kids from school, and doing homework or working on projects before shuttling them around to their various activities. With triplet teenage sons and a tween daughter in competitive sports and music lessons, I find myself doing a lot of juggling just to keep up with our packed family calendar.
