Dear Donor,
I am writing today to personally thank you for your donation to MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids). As a nonprofit organization, we certainly could not do what we do without your support, and we are so very grateful for your generosity.
With your help, MASK has experienced growth and change since our last Quarterly Update.
Here is a breakdown of our exciting growth:
- From November 18, 2013 to present, MASK presentations impacted over 2,000 students, parents, and school administrators throughout Arizona.
- The MASK website reached over 20,000 people between November 18, 2013 to present.
- Over 17,000 people received the digital MASK newsletter monthly.
- Between Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Plus, MASK social media reached 1 million people.
- MASK The Magazine was now boasts over 2,500,000 readers, both in print and digital versions.
- Voting for the 2014 Unity Award has kicked off and more than 9,000 votes have been cast in just under 3 months. With the launch of voting, we have seen an increase in web traffic over these last few months to a staggering 55,000 views.
- The MASK Unity Community is celebrating its second year and has reached over 1,000 people, including nominees and attendees to the "Moms Making a Difference" Unity Award Luncheon, and our partnership with Carrabba's restaurant, which hosts quarterly Unity Community lunches featuring guest speakers. The goal is to help connect the dots within the community of passion purposed individuals who are helping enrich families. The next Unity Community Lunch is to be held on February 27, 2014.
- This year, MASK will hold our second E3 Summer Camps. Our expectation is to welcome and impact more than 30 boy and girls in the month of June. You may find our summer camp dates by CLICKING HERE.
Here is a sampling of what people are saying about MASK:
"As a result of your training, the Big Brothers and Big Sisters that attended now have the knowledge and skills to approach their Little Brothers and Little Sisters with a discussion around bulling and being safe on the Internet."
-Terri
"The presentation was relevant to the students and gave them insight into how to deal with bullying and the need for safety when on the Internet"
-Don
In addition to all the fantastic work that you were able to help bring to fruition and in the spirit of transparency, MASK would like to introduce you to our staff and where we see MASK going within the next few years. Instead of profiling each staff member in text, we decided to do it in video format! Below -- and through each Quarterly Recap -- we will bring you one of the three videos.

You brought us from a small group of Arizona moms seeking to stay informed, to our current standing as a resource for many families. Although we have many subscribers outside of Arizona, with your continued help, our goal is bring the magazine to a national level and have a far greater impact and reach. Thank you for allowing MASK to continue to engage, educate and empower! We can't do it without you! With Sincere Gratitude, Kimberly Cabral MASK Founder & Publisher
