About MASK

MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids) is a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization created in 2007 by a group of dedicated mothers who recognized the need to consistently educate parents and children on rapidly changing issues. MASK's mission is to educate parents and children about the issues facing our youth and to empower children to make safe, healthy choices.

MASK has been Chosen as the 12 News
12 Who Care Honoree for the month of
February 2014 

 

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -MASK (Mothers Awareness on School-age Kids) has been chosen as the 12 News

12 Who Care winner for February, 2014. For more than 20 years, Channel 12 has supported volunteerism through the 12 Who Care volunteer recognition program. Each month a non-profit agency doing extraordinary work in the community is honored, and 12 News encourages others to volunteer to further their mission.

 

As a 12 Who Care winner, MASK will receive:

 

  • a $1,200 donation for the work of the organization
  • MASK will be featured on Arizona Midday, 12 News and azcentral.com
  • A :30 promotional spot based on the story and mission of MASK as well as volunteer information will air on 12 News
  • MASK will receive a recognition ad in The Arizona Republic 2 times during the month of February
  • MASK will be hosted at a luncheon at the 12 News Studios.
