Engage: The Simple Life
Trouble-free solutions for making family life more manageable

Anyone who has children knows that life with kids can be challenging. From extra laundry, to bathing ad cooking and shopping and driving and school and chores and sports and dance and toys and tantrums, there is no shortage of complications.

So how does one find peace and happiness among the chaos? It's easier than you think. The trick is to make your family your top priority, and choosing only a small number of priorities in your life. If you have too many things you want to do, or need to do, your life will become complicated. But if you choose just a few things that are important to you, you can eliminate the rest, and simplify your life greatly.
Engage.
Tips.

Tech: Today, people can access the Internet on their smartphone, giving them useful information right at their fingertips. Why not use this technology to help your child practice for the SATs? For instance, the CollegeBoard app features an official SAT question of the day, while smsPREP texts a question to your phone or emails you a question a day.

Drug: According to the U.S. Department of Education, tobacco is generally the first drug used by young people. So how do you prevent your child from taking that first puff? The drug prevention program D.A.R.E. says it's important to focus on short-term consequences, smoking's effects on appearance and the physical harm it can cause over time. The key is to find creative ways to illustrate the dangers of tobacco use and to talk openly with your kids about advertising and media messages that promote smoking.
Empower.
