MASK CONDUCTS SAFE DATING PRESENTATION TO MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS AT RANCHO SOLANO'S
VENTURA CAMPUS
SCOTTSDALE, AZ - On October 29th, MASK Co-Founder and Director of Education Pam Baumann conducted a presentation to 95 middle school students at Rancho Solano Preparatory Academy on the topic of safe dating.
"During this presentation, I explained the importance of being comfortable telling a parent, friend, or trusted adult if they are ever being mistreated within a relationship," said Baumann. "I also taught the students to be an advocate for a friend if they ever have knowledge about their friend being in a potentially dangerous relationship."
"Dating and boundaries need to be addressed at every age, from 6th to 12th grade," said Rancho Solano Ventura Principal Nicole Gorman. "It helps our students to hear this information from another source, other than us."
