During the third annual MASKer Aide Gala, MASK launched its newest campaign, MASK MATTERS. The goal of this campaign is to raise awareness on the social issues that we cover. Through this campaign, MASK will provide education to schools on bullying, drugs, underage drinking, etc., and will emphasize the importance of parent-child communication. Nearly every age group is represented in the MASK MATTERS campaign, which illustrates the importance of communication and education -- from parents who have been through the MASK program whose children have benefited from it, to professionals who are striving to make their community a better place, to students who understand the challenges facing their peer group and the ways that MASK has impacted their lives.
