160,000 U.S. STUDENTS MISS SCHOOL EVERY DAY TO AVOID BEING BULLIED.
MASK EDUCATES ROADRUNNER MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ON BULLYING AND CYBERBULLYING.
SCOTTSDALE, AZ - On August 30th, MASK educated middle school and high school students at Roadrunner School about the many types of bullying that exist inside and outside of school.
The presentation included information about the many forms of bullying, and highlighted the more prevalent types among specific age groups and gender.
"We love it when MASK comes to talk to our kids," said Roadrunner school psychologist Kathleen Mettler. "It's not just talking about bullying, it's about standing up and changing the culture of our school."
MASK Director of Education Pam Baumann instructed the students about the various reasons why kids bully and who is most affected, and students learned tips and tools on how to deal with bullying, whether they are the bully, the victim, or the bystander.
"Pam is so encouraging to our kids to make a difference with each other, and that's really where it starts," noted Mettler. "Thanks, MASK, for having our kids' backs!"
