Tips.

Drug: With marijuana possession and use now legal in Washington and Colorado (for adults over 21), parents should inform their children that "legal" does not always mean "acceptable" or "good." Safety: Between getting to and from school and extracurricular activities, kids are increasingly vulnerable to predators. Refresh your child on "stranger danger" tips, such as what to do if a stranger in a vehicle approaches them, instructing them to run in the opposite direction the car is facing. It takes time for the car to back up and turn around, giving your child more time to get to a safe place.
