As mothers, it is not in our nature to brag about our work. The Unity Award was created to inform the community about the many resources available, and the online voting process is an opportunity for nominees to get the word out about their passion and causes.
All 30 of the 2013 nominees will be recognized at MASK's 2nd Annual Unity Award Luncheon on Thursday, March 21, being held once again at the Phoenician Resort (visit maskmatters.org to purchase tickets), as well as in the upcoming Spring issue of MASK The Magazine, and on MASK social media outlets. The recipient of the 2013 Unity Award will be announced at the luncheon, and her story and cause will be featured in an editorial spread in the "Moms Making a Difference" section of the 2013 Summer issue of the award-winning MASK The Magazine.
The MASK "Moms Making a Difference" Unity Award is designed to acknowledge women and their passion for helping families. All of the worthy nominees are being honored as women who engage and empower their own families, and who go above and beyond to empower others.
