Changes in Florida's Standards Reflected in AB's Collection

2014 is a big year for Florida standards! In preparation for the 2014-2015 school year, the state's legislature is adopting changes to Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in ELA and Math. Recently, Florida added to their Social Studies standards to include Sociology and Psychology content. They also newly adopted Health and Physical Education standards. In general, Florida changed the method of access to their standards namely impacting the structure, so we will be reviewing all subjects in the state.

NGSS State Adoption Count Up To Ten With the Addition of Oregon

On March 6, Oregon became the 10th state (and Washington, DC) to formally adopt Next Generation Science Standards. For more information on how AB is capturing the standards, take a look at our NGSS Map. For more information on the adoption, check out here and here.
