AB adds Data Librarian to Shape Future Direction
Academic Benchmarks is excited to announce the arrival of the company's first Data Librarian, Caroline Muglia. The newly created position reflects our recognition of our clients growing demands and sophistication in the use of learning and standards metadata. We are thrilled to welcome Caroline aboard.
Under the direction of the Data Librarian, AB clients can expect:
- Increased focus on expanding and refining the AB data collection management and curation practices,
- Improved information retrieval methods for AB Collection users,
- Ongoing inventory and evaluation of existing metadata,
- Deepening investigation of learning standards and industry metadata initiatives.
Prior to her arrival at Academic Benchmarks, Caroline worked as a Manuscript and Digital Librarian at the Library of Congress. She holds a Masters in Library Science with a concentration in Archives and Records Management and a Masters in History from University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
