Common Core Standards Name
As states finalize the implementation of the Common Core, many have updated the name of their standards document. For example: Kansas recently changed from Kansas Mathematics Standards (CCSS) to Kansas College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics. Academic Benchmarks will be updating the names of Common Core documents to match the state title. Please make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the standards if document titles are important for your application.
If you have any questions about the titles of our Common Core state specific document names, please contact absupport@academicbenchmarks.com.

Promethean Study Shows Tech Integration Boosts Student Achievement
The Promethean study evaluated approximately 1700 students, in 38 schools, across 28 districts in the US. Students were taught the same lessons, but were provided with different instructional tools. Classrooms equipped with Promethean's complete suite of interactive tools, were studied against classrooms without. "Results confirm that students with academic standing in the 50th percentile can expect to move to the top third of the class with the use of Promethean's suite of interactive technology."
