Hi Everyone,
A few years ago when I was concerned about the state of the world, and it was making me lose focus and my center, my good friend gave me a phrase I have always remembered - 'Think Global, Act Local'.
This is a phrase that is very popular in sustainable living circles, but I actually see it as a great metaphor for centred living too. When life gets too big, how small can you make it?
It's easy for us to feel lost, pained, angry or confused when we see conflicts or violence occurring, just as we are seeing right now in a heightened way in Ukraine - one of many places that are dealing with darkness and oppression. It is also easy for us to feel these feelings when we remember how different our world is from the reality of most others. We in the West are the highly privileged in terms of monetary wealth and living conditions, and the rebalancing of our world's wealth and health is now a prime focus for our generation.

My greatest challenge this last few years, even as I work to help bring conscious change, has been to find a place within all of the duality, where I can be balanced and ok on a daily basis.
It is a challenge I still embrace daily, and it is one I always find new ways through, which is one of the reasons that doing this work is a passion and a calling for me.
My reason for wanting this 'balance' is simple - it helps me experience life fully, and then I am better at bringing an energy of balance for the world.
So, 4 weeks ago, when I returned from my 7 week trip away from home, preceded by about 6 months of near constant output from me, I needed to rest more than usual.
And as I tried to understand what I needed to do for this 'reset', I remembered my friend's phrase; "Think Global, Act Local".
I had perhaps become too global for my own sense of peace in those moments, so in order to reset, my 'local' focus became my body's needs and my home.
In-between bouts of working, I used the small focuses of re-arranging my home and clearing out old things to create a new environment for myself and come back to my own center.
It worked, even if the adjustment took some patience on my behalf at first while I learnt how to change gears in myself.
These smaller moments in life helped me return to the balance I needed, after things had felt very big for a while.
Even if your story and circumstances are different to those that I have shared here, I see this energy wave that I experienced happening for a lot of people right now. The need to be small at moments.
The world is no longer a small place, a
nd so whether it is climate change or conflicts that are occurring, we are all more 'in it together' than we ever have been. And things can feel very large, unless we remember how to balance it all with smaller simpler moments everyday in our lives.
This is why my energy forecast today focuses on re-setting some of that balance and I hope it can help do this for you.
When we reset ourselves, we are able to breathe, enjoy the simple moments, be in love more than in stress or worry, and as I always say, be more useful as a transformational energy to those around you. Self-love and self-care are so vital and do not take long to administer. A few moments of consciously asking yourself how you are each day and tending to help your balance, works wonders in times like these.
I also highly recommend clearing out the old and renewing your living or working space (or your physical health) as everything we are surrounded by holds energy. Change the energy around you, and the energy inside also gets to change.
Much love everyone
Lee
