This beautiful creature to the left is something I had never seen before, so I photographed it when I was up in the mountains in early August. I still don't know what it is and neither did my friend who is pretty good at identifying nature. But there is something enchanting about seeing something new - it's very life affirming.
What a whirlwind life is becoming for all of us. It does just get faster energetically (as predicted), so I find myself consciously having to slow down, stop, breathe. Then I jump back on the roller coaster and laugh, participate, observe and be as kind as I am able to be in any moment.
I remember around 15 years ago, as I started to get into my personal journey of healing/expanding, there was this mythical idea (that most of us believed), and it was this: If you could just figure out 'X' and 'Y', your outer life would become perfect (whatever that word meant to the individual).
It was romantic, and unattainable - this idea that all outside you is solvable. I find this is one of the biggest messages/illusions I like to share/bust when I speak to or work with people. My spiritual life and personal searching have allowed me to feel it all inside myself, and learn to flow with things more..SO much more. For this I am incredibly grateful and that is more than enough.
Life is a great mystery, but the 'unboxing' of yourself allows you to experience life like never before. I am working on a new music album right now, and the other day I wrote the lyric "Where did all these labels come from, when did we so box ourselves?'. That line is playing through my own life right now, as I examine and open beyond so many of my own self-thoughts and perceptions, and the universe is helping mightily with that process, as it tends to when you are willing to shift things. It's an amazing process, and one that feels very alive. If this resonates with any of you, I invite you to do the same. See which 'labels' in your life no longer feel comfortable for you or perhaps never did, and either rename them for yourself (if that's the first step you can manage), or COMPLETELY change them and decide to be different.
Intend to be or experience 'different'. Intention is powerful alchemy.
As I looked over the newsletter below, I realise how lucky I am to get to do what I do in the world right now, and what a journey it is. My team (Marti, Anna, Marc, Patty, Diana) all contribute mightily to what we do, but this morning I really want to thank all of YOU for your receiving of the work, and your giving to it. You allow it to happen and create it with us.
So this month, I am happy to announce the release of 'Intuition and You', hot on the heels of 'You as Creator' (which has gained incredible feedback so thanks for that). Like 'You as Creator' this release has an accompanying PDF and is free to Portal members this month.
The Portal membership is still available at the introductory rate (of just $9.50 a month) for the REST OF AUGUST ONLY. From September it will be the standard rate of $15 a month. Finally, I'll be bringing a live event to Slovenia for the first time in October, which is fantastic especially as Davor Bozic will accompany me with live music/percussion. And then one week later I will be appearing in Berlin, one of my favourite places to do live events :-)
