I have three large cottonwood trees in my backyard. They are usually the last ones to shed their leaves in the community. So, I find myself at the last minute outback raking up the beautiful golden color that is spread across my yard. When all the trees in Anchorage have lost their leaves and the trees are barren, it's a stark reminder that winter is almost here.
While raking the leaves the other day, I was praying for the communities in Alaska. Recently we have had several suicides in our State. The stories we hear are all too common. A teenager or young adult decided to end their life. Depression and the feeling of hopelessness led them to believe their lives have no purpose and they would be better dead than alive. For those of us who are Gospel workers, we cry out and say, "But, Wait! There is One who offers us Hope and His name is Jesus!"
So, what's the problem? One of the issues at hand is not enough Gospel workers to meet all the needs we have in our State. Jesus would instruct us in Luke 10:2, "The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." While it's important to intercede and storm the gates of hell in prayer to drive back the forces of darkness, we need Gospel workers who are empowered by the Spirit to give spiritual care to the souls of people.
The hour is urgent. The oppressive moves of the enemy are on the increase all across our land and throughout the Nations of the World. Will you pray with me? Winter is almost here. "The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved," Jeremiah 8:20.

-Credential Renewals-
Credential renewal season is coming very soon! Online renewal will be available as early as November 1, and the hard copy forms will be mailed out shortly after that time. You will be receiving communication from General Council when online renewals are available. However, you can prepare now by ensuring that your Network dues are current, and also by making sure that you know your AGPassport login information, which is necessary for the online credential renewals. As a reminder, Network Dues are $70 per month, or 80% of the tithes from your ministerial income, whichever is greater. We encourage you to renew your credential early in the season this year.

Have you discovered our app yet?
It is available to AMN ministers, and allows you to search minister and church contact information. We have found this to be a very useful tool. A brand new addition is the ability to give to the Network through the app. The app is titled "ACS Church Life", and on the first usage, you will have to login using your MyNetwork information. If you have any questions, please contact our office.
