A Christmas Greeting
From Superintendent Bill and Dori Welch
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Dori and I want to wish the Alaska Ministry Network a very Merry Christmas!  Looking forward to the New Year, 2014, we are praying that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers (3 John 2).  Our hearts are grateful for the opportunity to serve you.  We are thinking of you and your families and appreciate you very much.  You are loved!
AMN Holiday Office Hours
The Alaska Ministry Network office will be closed for the week of Christmas, Dec. 23-27, to allow our employees to celebrate Christmas with their families.  We will be open Monday, Dec. 30, from 9am-5pm.  The office will then be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1 in observance of New Year's Day.
Holy Fire Conference
Presented by the Central Region, Alaska Ministry Network, and MCA

The Holy Fire Conference will be held at MCA on January 12-15.  Speakers include R.T. Kendall, Joe Castleberry, and Carolyn Tennant.  This is always a tremendous time of teaching, and we encourage you to participate.  Missionary Terry Hull and Voice to the Village will be live streaming the event.
Electronic Donor Receipts
Want less paper?  You can now elect to receive your monthly AMN giving receipts electronically, rather than by mail.  Simply send an email to Jennifer and place "email donor receipts" in the memo line.  You will still continue to receive year end statements in the mail.  This will save money for the Network and is a convenient option for you.  Click here to send that email today.
Renewals and Year End Giving
Ministers, don't forget to renew your credential by Dec. 31!  Remember that if you are renewing online, it will be considered late after Midnight in the Central Time Zone.   After that time, you will incur a late fee.  You can renew here.  If you would like your year end giving to be credited to you in 2013, your offering should be given online by Dec. 31, postmarked by Dec. 31, or brought in to our office by Dec. 30 at 5:00pm (our office is closed Dec. 31).  The end of the year is a great time to get caught up on your minister's dues or church offerings.  We appreciate your support of the Network.
Credentialing Information
From Melanya Berg

The 2013 New and Upgrading Credential Cycle has come to an end and we have several credential applicants excitedly awaiting interviews and notice that they will be recognized at the April 2014 Network Conference. If you have missed the 2013 deadlines don't despair, the new cycle begins May 1, 2014.

Pre-applications for new and upgrading applicants as well as screening Disclosure Forms may be found here on the Network Website, and may be returned to this office at any time after the first of the New Year. Beginning the first week of May, General Council application packets will begin to be mailed out to those whose background screenings have been cleared. All documents including fees and exams are due back in this office no later than September 1, 2014, to be presented to the October 2014 Presbytery for consideration, and December 1, 2014, for consideration for the January 2015 Presbytery.

Now is the time to order transcripts, have them evaluated, finish up any incomplete required courses through AKSOM or Berean, and inquire about required course work that may not be started yet.

For those who are transferring from another denomination or country, or are submitting transcripts from a non-AG Bible College or Seminary, remember AG History, Missions and Governance is required for ALL applicants. I am looking forward to working with you in the 2014 credentialing year!
