2015 Nursery Preview, Part 2
Woody plants often provide structure and textural interest to a garden, but many can also provide big, bold, long-lasting color as well! Butterfly Bush,
Hydrangea and Rhododendron are just a few popular shrubs that will bring glorious color to your garden year after year.
Here are a few new varieties we're excited to have in our nursery this season:
 |
Buddleia 'Lo & Behold Blue Chip Jr.'
This selection is an even more compact Buddleia than the rest of the series and offers more silvery foliage and spires of soft purple-blue flowers
from late July to fall. A butterfly magnet!
|
 |
Hydrangea 'L.A. Dreamin'
'L.A Dreamin' is the first hydrangea to show flowers of blue, purple, pink and everything in between without soil acidifiers or lime! The blooms
appear from late June to October amid large, deep green, waxy foliage.
|
 |
Rhododendron 'Milky Way'
This variety produces trusses of small white flowers that contain up to 20 individual blooms. These trusses will create a mass of white in late
May to June amid thin, olive green foliage on an extra hardy plant.
