by Anders Brooker, Missoula Marathon Race Director
It's hard to believe, but October 1st is here and that means it's time to get signed up for the Missoula Marathon! With cool mornings, cross country meets in full swing, and the sight of pumpkins, it might feel like the Missoula Marathon is miles away. But registration opens on October 1st; it's time to get signed up. Get signed up - July will here before you know it and it's great motivation to keep running during the winter months. 2014 Registration Cap: Full Marathon - 1,750; Half Marathon - 4,000; 5k - 1,000. View from the Back: Center of the Nation
|
by Pam Gardiner, Leader, Back of the Pack
"When is the view from the back not a view from the back? Try one of the marathons/halfs organized by Clint Burleson of www.mainlymarathons.com. These remarkable events score five stars for BOP-friendliness, and one unique characteristic is that the slower runners and walkers never feel the rest of the field pulling away and leaving them behind. The back is hard to find." Click here to read about this fun and unique run.
