We would like to tell you a little bit about the timber buildings we manufacture, specifically designed with access for disability.

We build holiday homes, recreation centres, toilet/shower blocks, offices, restaurants/coffee shops - you name it, we build it!

We have taken this opportunity to feature a holiday lodge we recently designed and built for one of our customers, Hoe Grange Holidays - we hope you find this informative.

Holidays for People with Disabilities

Island Leisure Lodges provided Hoe Grange Holidays with their award winning Rainster Lodge in September 2010, and their Daisybank Lodge earlier this year, being their fourth timber lodge. The Rainster Lodge has many important accessible facilities with a range of specialist equipment, including mobile hoist, two electric profile beds, a fully adjustable Pressalit Care wash basin and mobile shower chairs.

Some of the features are:

Every need catered for in the bathroom

excellent wheelchair accessabile layout
wide doorways & level thresholds throughout
special wet room shower with non slip floor
grab rails and adjustable shower heads
a Pressalit Care adjustable wash hand basins
ramps to cabins
adjustable beds
and a wide range of accessible equipment

It has been an absolute pleasure working with Felicity and David. We continue to be astounded by their sheer hard work and tremendous committment to providing suitable access for all guests.
