 December/2015

With the winter holidays right around the corner, everyone at Girls Inc. of Central Alabama is busy wrapping up our 2015 events!  Our Crestwood Center and Teen Program girls have been busy participating in special programs! A group of our middle school girls recently went to Red Barn to learn about self-awareness, trust and leadership. Our Teen Leadership Program had a blast learning about etiquette from Faith Landers and networking with numerous volunteers throughout the professional field. All of our Crestwood Center girls are looking forward to the exciting time they will have in the upcoming weeks at the Winter Break Program. Make sure you sign up before it is too late! From all of us here at Girls Inc. of Central Alabama we wish you and your family Happy Holidays!

Strong, Smart and Bold Girl of the Month
Tameah is in the 8th grade at Phillips Academy. Her favorite subject in school is, "Math, because it will help me figure out real world problems." Tameah enjoys playing volleyball, playing in the band, and learning French. She is also involved in other extracurricular activities such as Girl Scouts, Junior United Nations, and Beta Club. When Tameah grows up she wants to be a pediatrician because she loves children and wants to solve their problems. This is Tameah's 7th year as a Girls Inc. of Central Alabama.
