Jadea is our Girls Inc. Girl of the Month! She is in the 7th grade at Huffman Middle School and has attended Girls Inc. Crestwood Center for 7 years. When she's not in school, Jadea likes to listen to music and to go shopping. She says that she loves Girls Inc. because she enjoys the programs, and also enjoys hanging out with her friends! When Jadea grows up she wants to be a teacher.

 February/2015

We have lots planned in the month of February and we're not letting the thought of 6 more weeks of Winter hold us back! Members of the Birmingham Dance Theater will visit the Crestwood Center every other Friday to teach dance lessons to the girls. The 6th grade and up girls will learn about Paris, the city of love, in their art classes this month, and their artwork will be displayed in the lobby of the Crestwood Center. We're also already registering for summer and making big plans for this year's Cajun Cook-off fundraising event. As always, keep up with the latest news from Girls Inc. of Central Alabama by following us on Facebook and Twitter!
