New UK Jobs Integrated Employment System
User Access

Update: Since UK's new Integrated Employment System launched on June 18, UK hiring officials have posted well over 150 positions, and more than 1,500 application/accounts have been completed!

As a UK supervisor, you will have immediate access to the position descriptions (JAQs) of individuals who report directly report to you in the new Integrated Employment System (IES). Access IES system login here.

However, you will need to request user access as a "Search Coordinator" if you are involved in managing the hiring process (through UK's online system) for positions within your department. Before requesting Search Coordinator access you will need to complete the following:

  1. Three brief, self-paced online training sessions that cover processes for posting Faculty, STEPS, and Student/Other positions. Visit this page for details.
  2. After completing required training, simply submit the  "Request IES User Account" online form found here.
Once your request has been submitted, we will ensure the required trainings have been completed and acquire official approval from your Budget Officer to proceed with assigning access.  Visit the IES website for complete details! If you have questions about the new Integrated Employment System, please contact Daniel Hacker at (859) 257-9643 or [email protected].

cultureHarnessing "The Culturetopia Effect"
This year, we are in the midst of a dynamic transition for the University  - with initiatives including a new Strategic Plan, shared services, new online performance evaluation, and more integrated position management/hiring processes. From a management standpoint, there's no doubt these changes can and will have a tremendous effect on our culture.

As leaders, this represents an opportunity for us to shape our teams' attitudes regarding commitment, innovation and service.
