MARCH 2014
Dear Colleague:

With spring just around the corner, we have some timely announcements to share:
  • The quarterly deadline for the  Healthtrac Rewards online health assessment is Monday, March 31. Earn an extra $30 on your April paycheck by completing the assessment today.  And, stay tuned in the months ahead to learn more about the UK Health & Wellness Program's new health improvement initiative, which will replace the current Healthtrac Rewards program (details below).
  • Nominations for UK's annual Student Employee of the Year Award are due Friday,  March 21.  Please take a moment to nominate a deserving UK student worker by completing this simple online form. Finalists and their supervisors will be invited to a special award event in April, which will feature a keynote address by  Provost Riordan.
Finally, a quick note of appreciation to all UK staff and faculty for their patience and understanding following the glitch affecting the University's February 28 bi-weekly payroll. Thanks to the quick action by University leaders and open communication between all involved, we were able to help those affected and resolve the issue as promptly as possible (as noted in last week's Staff Senate resolution commending the Office of the Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration).
