Heart, Sole & Glove 5K Rescheduled: Sun. Feb. 23
|
 Due to inclement weather conditions and with safety in mind, UK Health & Wellness' scheduled February 15 race was postponed. All details remain the same except for the date and time - now scheduled for 2 pm, Feb. 23.

Increase in Phishing Emails sent to UK Employees
|
 Phishing is the malicious act of sending emails with the intent of gaining the user's private information for the purpose of stealing one's identity and stealing money. These phishing emails have been on the rise and can be used as stepping stones to launch further cyber-attacks against individuals and the University.

New Independent Contractor Evaluation Form & Process
|
 The University's Business Procedures Manual item E-7-3, which pertains to classifying workers as employees or independent contractors, was significantly updated on November 1, 2013. With this change, department hiring officials must complete a new form, Worker Status Evaluation Form, and obtain Human Resources' approval prior to any performance of work or service by an individual.

Over 2,000 UK Employees Recently Took UK Healthtrac Rewards Health Assessment
|
 Halfway through the window of time where the online health assessment (HA) as part of the popular UK Healthtrac Rewards is open, 2,000 UK employees have already completed the HA. This online questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to offer individuals a snapshot of their current health status - plus employees add $30 to their April paycheck. All employees, spouses, sponsored dependents and retirees on a UK Health plan (HMO, PPO, EPO & RHP) are eligible to complete the HA and earn $30.
