Dear Imagine Families:  

We have an exciting week ahead of us on the ranch.  Wednesday through Friday of this week I will be attending and presenting at Imagine's National Leadership Summit in Orlando.  Should you need immediate assistance during that time, Ms. Turkovics will be holding down the fort supported by our incredible office staff and faculty. 


Stampede-A-Thon is in full swing this week!  It's time to bring in those pledges!  All monies raised go toward advancing technology on the ranch.
  
Special events this week for $5 pledges:
Masquerade Monday
 $5 in pledges and you can wear a school appropriate costume
Team Tuesday 
$5 in pledges and you can wear your favorite sports attire
Wacky Wednesday
$5 in pledges and you can wear wacky clothes, hair, shoes, you name it!
Throwback Thursday
$5 in pledges and you can wear clothes from the decade of your choice... 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s... pick your favorite and hit me with your best shot!
Fun Run Friday
Stampede-A-Thon day is here!  Sport your Stampede-A-Thon shirt and get ready to run!  Shirts will be handed out later this week before the big run!

In addition to the prizes listed above, students will earn the following prizes for cumulative pledges:

Cambridge FAQ's

Will my child be participating in Cambridge?  YES!  All students on the ranch will have the Cambridge approach in their classrooms.  

Who will be in the Cambridge International School for the Gifted & Talented?  The Cambridge Gifted and Talented Program is for grades 6-8.  This program is an advanced course of study that is more rigorous than the general education Cambridge classrooms.

Do I have to apply to be in a Cambridge classroom?  No.  All children will automatically be exposed to the Cambridge approach as it is being incorporated into all K-8 classrooms.

Does my child have to apply to be in the Cambridge International School for the Gifted & Talented?  Only if s/he will be new to our school.  Current middle school honors students will grandfathered into the Cambridge Gifted and Talented program.

Are there two Cambridge Programmes?  Yes, one general education programme for K-8 and a Gifted & Talented programme for 6-8.  The Cambridge approach is applied to all classes.  The Gifted & Talented classes are more rigorous and taught at and above grade level.

Current Opportunities

Curriculum and Instruction
Our Instructional coach, Ms. Arritt, needs a volunteer to organize our schools professional library, make copies for faculty and prepare curriculum notebooks/resources for faculty.  If you are interested, email Ms. Arritt at leisa.arritt@imagineschools.org.

Photographer
We're looking for someone who can take pictures of our students and teachers in action and print them out for our shared values bulletin boards in the Multipurpose room.  So, if you're a whiz with a camera this opportunity is for you!  If you're interested, please call the front office or contact Mrs. Arias at brandy.arias@imagineschools.org.
