Help Rotating Emergency Shelter Team

Part of the mission of the UUCM Social Justice Committee is to provide hands-on service opportunities for congregants to practice the UU principles.

Over the past 7 years we have provided 182 meals for the REST (Rotating Emergency Shelter Team) program.

Last year we joined 16 other Marin congregations in serving 372 people: 93 wonderfully unique women and 279 wonderfully unique men.

Once again this year ─ for 26 weeks ─ we will provide Sunday evening meals for approximately 100 different women.

Can we count on you to provide a dish for approximately 12 people at least 1 of the 26 Sunday nights?

Sign up on the board in the lobby or at socialjustice@uumarin.org or contact figleafjoan@comcast.net or 415-453-6221.
