Our Young Religious Unitarian Universalist youth will again lead an intergenerational service as a celebration of community and Thanksgiving. This year's theme: Lord of the Rings. Bring your root vegetables and cabbages (already cut) by 10:00 am to participate in this ritual.

Readings introduce a silent period to reflect on a topic or idea, followed by an opportunity to share individual thoughts. Come and widen our circle. All are welcome! Stone Soup Sunday: Nov 23rd.
Our Young Religious Unitarian Universalist youth will again lead an intergenerational service as a celebration of community and Thanksgiving. This year's theme: Lord of the Rings. Bring your root vegetables and cabbages to participate in this ritual.
~We hope everyone can bring food for the Food Drive barrel.
YRUU- skit: arrive by 8:30. Dress rehearsal: 8:45- 9:30 grades 7-8 cooking: 8:30 arrival grades 2-6 set up and decoration: 9:15-10:00 Youth Choir rehearsal: 10:00-10:20 Parents: Please come ready to help, bring some breakfast snack stuff to share.
Invite buddies- Stone Soup Sunday is a good day to invite your friends and your kids' friends. Active, playful, family friendly. Dec 7th, Deck the Halls, is also a good day to invite friends.
Deck the Halls: We would like you to lead a craft table: Contact Monique. Our lovely and fun community tradition of decorating Fellowship Hall will be happening after the service on Sunday Dec. 7th. We will decorate the tree. Bring a buddy, share the joy.

Administrator out of office Nov. 21-Dec. 11 | | I want you to know that I will be on vacation enjoying my honeymoon November 21-December 11. A temp hire, Karen Donohue, will be here while I'm gone. She will be here Friday the 21st. During Thanksgiving week, she will be here one day, Monday the 24th. Beginning the week of December 1, she will be here Mon/Wed/Fri. Karen has been here before and knows our building as well as many of our procedures.

Holiday Fair | | HOLIDAY FAIR IN THE FOYER TO SUPPORT YRUU Sunday Dec. 7, Noon-2:00 p.m. Do your holiday shopping at the UUCM crafts fair - textiles, crafts, lightly-worn jewelry, and baked goods, including June's famous biscotti and truffles! All proceeds will be used to help send our youth to the General Assembly in Portland in June 2015. Help Rotating Emergency Shelter Team | | Part of the mission of the UUCM Social Justice Committee is to provide hands-on service opportunities for congregants to practice the UU principles. Over the past 7 years we have provided 182 meals for the REST (Rotating Emergency Shelter Team) program. Last year we joined 16 other Marin congregations in serving 372 people: 93 wonderfully unique women and 279 wonderfully unique men. Once again this year ─ for 26 weeks ─ we will provide Sunday evening meals for approximately 100 different women. Can we count on you to provide a dish for approximately 12 people at least 1 of the 26 Sunday nights?
