This will be a response Sunday.
Reminder:

Let's Celebrate with Cake!
|
|

Members' and pledging friends' annual financial commitments comprise about 66% of UUCM's income, helping to provide inspiring Sunday services; an inviting, sacred space; remarkable music; and quality religious education. Your support now helps us plan an amazing 2014-15 church year!
As this year's Gratitude & Commitment month draws to a close, about 60% of members and friends have made financial commitments totaling more than $116,000!
We'll celebrate the end of Gratitude & Commitment month during the coffee hour Sunday with cake!
If you haven't yet made your annual financial commitment, there are three easy ways to do it:
- Complete the online form and set up automatic payments.
- Mail your financial commitment form, which you were mailed, to the church office.
- Stop by the Gratitude & Commitment table in the church foyer after the 10:30 service during March to fill out a financial commitment form or to drop off the form you filled out at home.
Questions? Visit our Gratitude & Commitment web page!

Spring Fling catalog online
| |
Grab some friends and come to the UUCM Spring Fling Auction on April 19th from 6pm to 9:30 pm. Advance event tickets are $25 and $10 for the children's program.
You'll dine on the gastronomical delights from Marin's best caterers and eateries (how does Wild Mushroom Pizzettas with 1,000 Day Aged Gouda, Micro Greens and Lemon Thyme sound?) and swoon to the lilting tunes of Sandy Gellar. Perhaps you will win the custom guitar crafted by Greg Nelson Luthier or the stay in Sea Ranch at the auction.
Check out the auction catalog. Please bookmark as new items are added daily.
More information and tickets are available on our web site or after services.
Or perhaps you have a lovely antique necklace you are ready to part with or can throw a rollicking poker party for eight - Lori (lasmith7@att.net) and Karen (kauroy@live.com) welcome donations.
Print flyers for your friends.

Social Justice Luncheon April 13
| | April 13, 2014 Social Justice Luncheon Speaker: Mark Bachelder - of Pachamama Alliance, will give us an overview of this collaborative organization which is dedicated to transforming the systems and structures that separate us. Hiking with UUCMers | | The newly formed UUCM hiking group took its second hike along the Gallinas Watershed creeks that drain Los Ranchitos through the Meadows area. NEXT HIKE: Please join a fun and lively group this Saturday, March 29 as we explore the hills above Fairfax to revel in a display of wildflowers. We will meet at 10:30 at the Smith Ranch Park n Ride and carpool to Fairfax and park near the movie theater. The hike, itself, will be led by an experienced naturalist and will be about 1.5 hours, the incline will be moderate at about 15% (15 foot rise per 100 feet) grade for about 1.0 mile going up and coming back down. We will take our time. Good gripping shoes or boots are recommended, along with layered clothing and sunscreen, etc. See map. After the hike, we could have lunch downtown at a restaurant or Good Earth market. I hope that you enjoy the pictures from our past hikes and hope to see you on Saturday! Thomas If you want to receive future hike information by email reply to this weekly email. (Hikes will not continue to be posted here.) Please send hiking route suggestions to Thomas Ervin. |
