From the DRE
| | A Kid Friendly Auction Event - The children's program at the Crab Feed was great. We hope it can happen for the UUCM Auction. Irene and I are wondering who it will be who steps up to take the lead on the children's program for the Auction. We expect about 12 children. We are hoping for Pizza, drinks, and movie night. The event is from 6 to 9:30, April 19th. If you could help we would be so appreciative. Contact Irene: intern@uumarin.org or Jef: DRE@uuMarin.org We Need Teachers -We are building our RE program. We have two teachers in each classroom most of the time. We have new families registering with RE, joining the RE community and becoming members of UUCM. Join our team of teachers. It is an enriching experience and spiritual path unto its own. Be proactive ... give me a call. |

"I Did It!"
|
|

A number of UUCM members and pledging friends have "I Did It!" stickers on their name tags, signaling that they have made their financial commitment for the 2014-15 church year. Do you?
If you've returned your paper or online financial commitment form, be sure to stop by the Gratitude & Commitment table in the church foyer during coffee hour on Sunday and pick up a sticker.
If you haven't yet made your annual financial commitment, there are three easy ways to do it:
- Complete the online form and set up automatic payments.
- Mail your financial commitment form, which you were mailed, to the church office.
- Stop by the Gratitude & Commitment table in the church foyer after the 10:30 service during March to fill out a financial commitment form or to drop off the form you filled out at home.
Questions? Visit our Gratitude & Commitment web page!

The Spring Fling Auction is in the air
|
|
Saturday April 19, 2014
Spring Fling auction 6-9:30 pm.
Isn't the weather beautiful -- that's because Spring is in the air and that means that our Spring Fling auction is just weeks away! Enjoy a Taste of Marin, great bites from local caterers and eateries, libations, Sandy Geller on the piano, raffles and a thrilling auction. We hope you will come and bring a friend or two or twelve.
Please purchase tickets on our web site.
Do you have something you could donate to our auction? Perhaps a dinner experience, a service, a precious antique, a gorgeous gift basket, a handcrafted wrap, or a beautiful piece of art. Or maybe you could ask your favorite restaurant or service provider to donate a gift certificate. To submit an auction item, please fill out this donation form and return to box in the foyer or community room.
We also could use help at the event, for example setting up, serving food, or coordinating the children's program. Please sign up to help using the following Signup Genius link.
See you there!
