Donations for the homeless will be accepted along with warm, dry, winter clothing, bedding and socks.

As winter approaches, we are starkly reminded that our least fortunate neighbors are homeless all year long:
*Please put your name on the Sunday night Women's Shelter Dinner sign-up board in the foyer.
*Bring Socks, Toiletries & Food Bank contributions to the containers. (New white socks. Tube socks are best because they are a fit-all size.)
*Mark your calendar for the Thanksgiving Eve street chaplain's moving worship and ingathering service at 1st Presbyterian Church, San Rafael. (5th & E streets) 7 PM.
*If you haven't yet responded to the Social Justice Committee's homeless appeal letter please do so as soon as you are able.
*Tell your friends and neighbors to do their holiday shopping at
Joan Nelson's art fundraiser. Nov. 29-30. Funds will go toward establishing a
permanent shelter. Tax deductible. Credit cards OK.
