Thank you UUCM members! | | Last June, the Board of Trustees asked all members to consider increasing their original 2013-14 pledge. Thanks to your generous support, we raised an additional $5,030! This amount is current as of September 30. When combined with the existing pledges, it helped us inch past our budgeted goal of $167,000 for this church year.
Please know that the Board truly appreciates all of the contributions you make to our congregation: financial and in many other ways. We look forward to working with you to chart UUCM's future course.

Work Party Thank you
| |
A big thank you to all twelve members who came to the church last Saturday to do needed repairs. Our fearless leader was Tom Lundbaek. Carole R and Judy F washed windows. The floor in the front hallway was patched, and doorstops were put on the entryway doors.
Please consider volunteering next time for this four hours of fun. A good way to get to know your church neighbors. |

PASTORAL CARE FOR ALL AGES | | If you or your friends have elderly parents for whom you/they will be responsible when a medical crisis arises (even if your folks don't live near or even in this state) consider attending the Senior Classes Nov. 3 & 17.
What kind of information should you have? What are the decisions you will be asked to make? What will be your responsibilities at that time? The more info we have in advance, the more likely the crisis is going to be manageable, i.e. you will not be caught unaware of your tough choices and the data needed to make them. Anything you learn can be shared with your siblings etc.
We are sponsoring Lisa Brinkman, a gerontologist, to lead us through the process. BE BETTER PREPARED FOR THE INEVITABLE. Lisa will be at the November 3rd class and Rev. Chip will lead the November 17th class which will include Elder Planning Part II, Transportation, Giving, and other issues as well as a Q&A. Call or email Carol Littrell to attend; lunch is provided & therefore, requires registration. Email cjwlittrell@aol.com or call 883-9676. |
