Sunday Worship Service chalice

March 24, 10:30 am: 'Sowing Seeds of Justice and Growing Community'
Pulpit Guest Matthew McHale, Starr King School for the Ministry Student with Worship Associate Karen Auroy

Matthew McHale is in his third year at Starr King School for the Ministry, a candidate for Unitarian Universalist Ministry, an accomplished preacher, and an avid supporter of anti-oppression and ecological justice work. This service will draw on his experiences with Occupy the Farm.

This Sunday we consider our relationship to one another and to the environment which sustains all life on this planet. In this age of climate change, ecological destruction, and economic disparity how can we create systems and communities that align with our liberal religious values-promoting justice and honoring the interconnected web of existence?

UUA News Alert
chalice blue On March 15 your Unitarian Universalist Association Board of Trustees made the decision to move our Association headquarters from its long-time home on Beacon Hill to a new home in Boston's Innovation District. We did not make this decision lightly. We did so knowing the heart of our Association is always in our covenanted communities. The administration made a compelling case for workspace suited to this collaborative age. This move will strengthen our Association spiritually, financially, creatively, and technologically. We believe the new property will become a hub of hospitality and inclusion, a place where Unitarian Universalists will deepen their connection to each other and our faith. We're very grateful to our administration, who found a welcoming new center for our Association.
