221st General Assembly in Detroit, MI

The biennial General Assembly (GA) of the PC(USA) will be held from June 14 to 21, 2014. Learn more on their website.

The 2014-2015 Moderator of GA will be elected the first day of GA. Here are the candidates' Chicago connections:
  • Heath Rada's vice-moderator Rev. Larissa Kwong Abazia served at Chicago Lake View.
  • Rev. John Wilkinson served at Chicago Lake View, Fourth, and St James and earned an M.Div. at McCormick Seminary. His vice-moderator is Rev. MaryAnn McKibben Dana, speaker at our 2013 clergy retreat and daughter-in-law of local clergy couple Anne Fisher and Gregg Dana.
  • Rev. Kelly Allen's vice-moderator Rev. Leslie King earned an M.Div. at McCormick.
