What is The Great GiveŽ 2014?  

A 36 hour online giving event to raise money for nonprofits serving Greater New Haven and the Lower Naugatuck Valley community. 

The event starts at 8:00 am on May 6th and ends at 8:00 pm on May 7th.Every gift will be amplified with matching dollars provided by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and its affiliate the Valley Community Foundation.
 
This year The Great GiveŽ 2014 is part of a national day of local giving celebrating the centennial anniversary of community foundations called Give Local America. We join with more than 100 communities in this national day of giving to support local nonprofits.
 
A donation of $20.00 provides one full year of our program to a high-risk, low-income child.  $100 provides the same child with the full five years of our program!
