This year for International Women's Day, on March 8th, we celebrate the collective creative boldness of women of the world by honoring personalities of passion with our Social Portrait Challenge. The fine art and jewelry series examines personalities and pursuits of entrepreneurial females and is created by the one and only, yours truly.
The inspiration came to me as I was designing jewelry and exploring my Voice & Vision theme. I realized that I often think of personalities of other women as I design, more or less thinking of pursuits and how specific personalities shape futures. This inspiration led me to envision a portrait series that I then use as the spring-board for new jewelry pieces.
The Challenge is for you! To get us thinking about how we shape and create our lives, I'd like you to flex your mind and name the painting (aka pursuit). There is much in it for you, like the chance to be creative, the opportunity to learn and the bonus to win distinctive jewelry or the grand prize of an original portrait!
