| Happy Holidays! |
As 2012 draws to a close, I'd like to wish you and your family a healthy and mindful holiday. It is no doubt a special time of year as we take time to dedicate to family, reflections and personal growth. My holiday theme, Flights of the Imagination, is expressed in our home and hearts with beautiful birds, wings, balloons and whimsical flights of fantasy. This theme has helped to ease the depth of emotion for those who we have only now in memory and shifts any sadness to a place of special joy.
For myself, 2012 marked a year of growth, adventure, exceptional partnerships and creativity. I was challenged both personally and professionally in one of the most intricate projects of my life, the recording and production of the Voice of the Masaai. As many of you know, this was a logistical and cultural puzzle. But patiently and persistently I worked with a tremendous and intimate team to pull all the pieces together. The result is truly a spellbinding collection of music and story. The pace at which all has been accomplished is a true testament to the commitment of so many. September marked the launch of the CD and we are already SO close to reaching our first GOAL of being able to buy materials to start the Building of the first Masaai Home! It is now that I reach out to you and ask Pretty Please, with a SHINING CD on top, to continue to spread the word and buy your CD stocking stuffers for the upcoming holidays! This is a gift that keeps giving long into the future.
Looking into the new year...I can't thank you enough for your continued interest in Little Lady Studio. You are my pulse and again, with such exciting steps already taken, imagine the strides that lie ahead - 2013 is going to be filled with amazing commitment, progress, hard-work and most importantly creative partnerships. I head back to Tanzania in June with work shoes in tow as the construction will begin!
As always, I love the calendar rolling over because it reminds us to be reflective and passionate with our lives, to not waste a moment and most importantly to get off our butts and create the life we want with our own two hands.
Let your Socidividuality SHINE,
Jessey
