Are you so busy seeing all your vices that you fail to recognize and appreciate your virtues? Are you constantly scrutinizing others, that you don't value what God has given you? See what the scripture says: "We will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse. We have far more interesting things to do with our lives. Each of us is an original."

Comparing yourself implies that God made a mistake making you the way you are. It allows others to define you and gives them control over your self-esteem. We are all wonderfully and fearfully made.

Focus on the talents and abilities God has given you. Stop coveting what you don't have. Until you stop comparing yourself to others, you will never be able to give birth to what He's placed within you. Thank God for who you are and enjoy who and what He's made you...an ORIGINAL!
