LT Girls Lax Fall Ball Registration is open!
LT Girls Lacrosse Fall Ball Registration is open!  Practice begins week of September 6.  There will be 3, 1.5 hour weekly practices - 2 weekday and 1 weekend. Practice dates TBD.

Are you new to the
Lake Travis School District?
If so, you are invited to our new parent coffee on Tuesday, September 6th, right after Labor Day, from 8:45 to 10:00am 
in the LTHS Annex Recital Hall.

At the meeting, our Principal Mr. Gordon Butler will have a presentation on how to best support your child in getting the most out of their high school experience.  He will also take and answer questions you may have concerning your child's education and experience at LTHS. 
 
We hope you can join us on Tuesday!
 
If this is your first time signing into LTHS, please allow a few minutes extra and bring your ID to be scanned into the Raptor system in the annex office.

LTHS PTO is holding the first General Membership meeting on Monday, September 12th at 9:15am.  Come meet our new principal, Mr. Butler, and learn about the State of the School and his vision for the direction of Lake Travis High School.  We will be meeting in the Black Box Theater in the Lake Travis High School Performing Arts Center.  All parents are invited to attend.

This evening meeting will be directed toward any parent for whom English is a second language. It will be presented in Spanish by the Counselors and the topics to be covered will be specific to academics, grad plans, TX Connect, and other related topics.

News from LT FFA
There will be an FFA meeting at 6:30pm at the High School cafeteria. This meeting is for anyone wishing to learn about and be a part of LTFFA, parents are welcome!

There will also be an informative meeting for all new parents with extensive question and answer time on Thursday September 8th at 6:30pm at the LTHS Agricultural Facility.  

FFA is the largest student led organization in the world and one of the fastest growing here at LTHS and one of the most successful FFA chapters around, come see what it's all about!
From Your PTO
LTHS PTO's mission is to enrich the education of each student on our campus. We do this by investing our ideas, time, and money into Student and Teacher related programs that we believe foster a positive and fun learning environment. We work in close collaboration with our principal to identify and prioritize needs and to spend donations in the same year as they are contributed
 
In 2015-16 the PTO budgeted over $51,000 toward our Student and Teacher programs. While supporting and adding to our annual programs for students and teachers, we were able to allocate $20,500 toward NEW wish list items!
 
Your financial support makes our ongoing programs for students and staff and the Wish List possible. The LTHS PTO relies on two major sources of funding:  sponsorships / ad sales for the LTISD Student Directory and the LTHS PTO No Hassle Fundraiser (NHF) campaign.
 
We call the NHF campaign "No Hassle" because we don't ask you or your student to buy or sell anything, just to make a one-time donation. We depend on donations from our families early in the school year, so we may plan our wish list spending by late October. The more we receive, the more we can spend. Please consider donating to our No Hassle Fundraiser and join us as we continue enriching the education of each student on our campus.

LT Team Tennis off to a great start!!
LT defeated Austin High last week 16-3. Matches of the Day went to Shriniket Maddipatla and Jack Lumin doubles, Jackson Foreman and Tatum Blalockin mixed, Catherine Brown and Elena Kalogirouin singles.

Saturday LT took on SA Reagan and posted a win of 19-0! Math of the Day went to Captain Brendan Brown and Tyler Ansonin doubles, Anushka Dania and Megha Dania in doubles, and Emily Bian, Jesse Wiksoand Tyler Ansonin singles.

LT takes on Leander and St. Stephen's on Tuesday and Thursday this week at home.
