Monday & Tuesday August 8th-9th - BOYS ONLY 9:00am to 1:00pm @ LTHS courts MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS! Proper attire should be worn - court shoes only (no running shoes) ** Current physicals must be on file with the athletic trainer or turned in prior to trying out (access paperwork online from the "sports medicine" site on the LTHS webpage HERE. Volunteer Opportunity - PODER2Educate
|
On August 8th (3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) LTISD is partnering with PODER2Educate for the 4th Annual Spanish Enrollment Assistance Night at Lake Travis Elementary.
At this event, our Spanish-speaking parents can come for assistance with the following:
- online registration process
- TXConnect
- Transportation
- FANS
- Extended Care
- Schoology
- Athletic online forms
In addition,
- LT Lov will be there to discuss need of school supplies & the Aug 12th free Dental Day.
- PODER2Educate will have info on how the community can continue serving the families in need in LTISD throughout the year.
We are seeking as many Spanish speakers as possible, but also English speakers who have a heart to better connect with the Spanish speaking population in our community!
Student volunteers (for service hours) are welcomed as well!

Round Up Volunteers Needed

We are still looking for parent volunteers for Round Up, ESPECIALLY on Tuesday morning. Please take a look at the signup to see if any time slots may work for you. Thanks!
1. Volunteer at the PTO table to help distribute and collect No Hassle Fundraiser Forms and Directory Order Forms.
2. Volunteer to assist the school with Check-in/Course Sheet Distribution.

2016 LTHS Round Up Information
|
To take part in Round-up, all students and parents, both new and returning, must fill out the online enrollment forms and submit prior to your participation. Filling out the forms on-line and submitting prior to August 9th will expedite your student's round-up process; however, if you need assistance with these online forms, we will have staff ready to help and computers will be made available at Round-up. Just remember your log-in and password to access TXconnect.
2. Lunch Account Application - Food services is continuing to use MySchoolBucks this year and all students are required to fill out an on-line application and create an account to be able to purchase food. Click HERE for more information.
Required items: Must complete the ONLINE parking form, hit save and PRINT (application form will be made available at 9am Monday, August 8th). Bring with you: parking form, driver's license, insurance, and payment of $50.
4. Planners - Students may purchase a planner at this time for $10.00. Cash or checks only.
5. 'Leader For Life' - drug and alcohol testing program.
The following dates and times have been established for "LTHS 2016 Round-Up":
Tuesday, August 9th. Returning LTHS students will enter the front rotunda of the main campus and or staff will guide you through the process. Sophomores: 8:00am to 10:00am Juniors: 10:00am to 12:00pm Seniors: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Wednesday, August 10th. Please enter at the L-Wing Performing Arts Center and our staff will guide you through the process. New Students to the district, Orientation: 9:30am to 11:30am
Wednesday, August 10th. Incoming 9th graders will enter the front rotunda of the main campus and or staff will guide you through the process. Freshmen: 12:00pm to 2:00pm

Project Graduation is yearlong program sponsoring approved Senior events including an All Night Lock-In following the Senior Graduation Ceremony. (Location High 5 in Lakeway) Graduates celebrate all night, with adult supervision, in a drug and alcohol free environment of fun filled activities.

8th Annual Huddles & Heels returns on August 11, 2016
Join Lake Travis High School Head Football Coach Hank Carter and the Cavalier Football Coaching Staff for a fun evening of dinner, football and prizes. Open to all women who are interested in learning more about the Lake Travis football program. This is a fun opportunity to get to know other Lake Travis Football moms, have dinner with the coaches, and win fabulous prizes.
Hosted by the Lake Travis High School Football Booster Club, this year's Huddles & Heels event will be held on Thursday, August 11th at 5 p.m. in the Lakeway Resort and Spa Vistas Ballroom overlooking beautiful Lake Travis.
Tickets are $60 for individuals or $560 for a reserved table for 8. The event includes a buffet dinner and will feature Lake Travis Football spirit wear and merchandise for sale, a silent auction and prize chance drawing tickets available for purchase.
