Candlelight Service for the
Copeland Family
A community candlelight prayer service for the Copeland family will be held at 6:30 pm, Sunday, July 17 at Lake Hills Church, 11521 Bee Cave Rd.
 
Additionally, friends of the Copeland family encourage the Lake Travis community to tie red and black ribbons on their trees as a sign of love and support for the Copeland family, our community, our nation, and our world.

Are you interested in volunteering?
LTHS PTO is seeking a Directory Chairperson to start immediately.  If you are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with using computers and spreadsheets (nothing complicated, just simple logging of order form information and basic manipulation like sorting, setting print areas, etc.), you might be a perfect fit. You have a ready and experienced team already in place. :-)

If you need a VOE during the summer, please email Debbie Black the request.  Leave student's full name, ID number and a phone number.  Your VOE form will be ready to pick up in the main office on the counter in approximately one week from the request date.

Volunteer Opportunity - PODER2Educate
On August 8th (3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) LTISD is partnering with PODER2Educate  for the 4th Annual Spanish Enrollment 
Assistance Night at Lake Travis Elementary.
 
At this event,  our Spanish-speaking parents can come for assistance with the following: 
  • online registration process
  • TXConnect
  • Transportation
  • FANS
  • Extended Care
  • Schoology
  • Athletic online forms  
In addition, 
  •  LT Lov will be there to discuss need of school supplies & the Aug 12th free Dental Day. 
  • PODER2Educate will have info on how the community can continue serving  the families in need in LTISD throughout the year. 

We are seeking as many Spanish speakers as possible, but also English speakers who have a heart to better connect with the Spanish speaking population in our community!

Tryout Dates 2016-2017:
Thursday & Friday August 4th-5th, GIRLS ONLY  9:00am to 1:00pm
Monday & Tuesday August 8th-9th - BOYS ONLY
9:00am to 1:00pm
@ LTHS courts
MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS!
 
Proper attire should be worn - court shoes only (no running shoes)
** Current physicals must be on file with the athletic trainer or turned in prior to trying out (access paperwork online from the "sports medicine" site on the LTHS webpage HERE.
