We are now taking student applications for participation in Aggie Summer Institute 2016 (ASI). Established in 2006, ASI is a college access program for rising junior and sophomore high school students (currently 10th & 9th grade students). For the past 10 years ASI has offered a free summer training program as a jump start to college. This year's ASI will be a one day event on Friday, June 17th in College Station, Texas. We would like to enlist your help in identifying and contacting rising juniors and sophomores from your school who would be interested in attending this event.

Students attending ASI will have the opportunity to:
· Tour the TAMU campus
· Meet with colleges and departments representatives
· Learn about the college application process.
· Learn about student involvement.
· Participate in a dorms tour.
· Participate in a Kyle Field tour.
Texas A&M will provide meals and transportation to and from College Station on June 17th. A complete trip itinerary will be provided as soon as it has been finalized.

Space is limited so please encourage students to submit their application as soon as possible but no later than June 1, 2016. To be eligible for ASI students must be either a rising junior or rising sophomore in the top 10% of their class or the top 25% based upon counselor recommendation.

I have attached a flyer and student registration forms for any interested students.
