Howdy Fiddler Fans! Lake Travis Fiddlers are playing this Saturday, 1-3pm at Hippo's Hill Country Hideaway in Spicewood, TX and we would love to see you there! Do you want to be a part of something new and exciting? Audition for the Colorguard! Call-outs for the 2016-2017 LTHS Colorguard will be held on May 3rd. Auditions will be May 10th and 11th, all from 5-7 pm in the High School Band Room. All current 8th-11th graders are welcome to audition. No previous experience necessary

One Time Opportunity!

Would you like to learn a little more about the LTHS PTO via a one time volunteer opportunity? We are looking for at least three people to audit the 2015-16 books of the PTO. It's a straightforward process that will take less than 4 hours sometime in July. Date, time, and location are set around the committee members' availability. News from LTHS Counseling Office

A Note from Austin Community College for Parents & Students:

We're getting the word out about our enrollment event, Destination ACC: Saturday, and wanted to make sure your family has all the pertinent info.

Destination ACC: Saturday is a great chance for students and parents to get one-on-one help with every step of the ACC enrollment process. It helps students know their options at ACC, and allows them to complete the enrollment process in as little as one day. Whether your student is interested in earning a degree, training for a career, or getting ahead with transfer classes, Destination ACC: Saturday is designed to help get them to the next step in that process.

The events take place on the Saturdays of April 30, May 7, and May 15 at our Round Rock, Highland and Riverside campuses.

College & Scholarship Application Camp!

We will have tutorials on the FAFSA and TASFA, how to set up a strong academic resume on college applications, and how to fill out a scholarship application of your choice. We will bring in guest speakers from college recruiters, scholarship panel representatives and past LTHS scholarship recipients.

Testing Volunteers Needed

It is testing time again. LTHS has requested help monitoring hallways May 2 - May 4. You can bring reading, knitting, iPads, puzzlebooks, etc. to keep yourself busy and/or productive. LTHS staffers will check on you frequently so you can take restroom breaks, etc. Volunteer shifts are offered in 2-hour increments. May 2nd and 3rd monitoring will be at the Annex building. May 4th monitoring will be at the Main Building. Details are included on the sign-up link here.
