Attention LTHS PTO Members!
On Tuesday April 12, 2016 the LTHS PTO will vote on proposed changes to the LTHS PTO Bylaws. The proposed changes are as follows:
1. Simplify the titles of the Vice Presidents:
page 4, Article VII Section 1 - Change first vice president to vice president
- Change second vice president of fundraising to fundraising vice president
- Change third vice president of student activities to student activities vice president
page 6, Article VIII Sections 2, 3, and 4
- Update the names of the positions to match Article VII, Section 1.
2. Add a new optional position to support the President:
page 8, Article IX Section 1
- Add the following text to the end of the current paragraph: The President may appoint with approval of the Executive Board an Advisor to the President who will serve on the Executive Committee and in any other capacity as deemed appropriate by the President. This position shall be open to any individual who subscribes to the Purpose and Basic Policies of the Organization.
page 8, Article IX Section 2
- Add the following text to the end of the current paragraph: Advisor to the President shall have no vote.
3. Allow the LTHS PTO to make disbursements by debit card or electronic payment:
page 10, Article XI, Section 4
- Add the following text to the end of the current sentence: ,debit card, or electronic payment
